Painting Flowers in Watercolour
Duration: 2hrs 30mins
Cost: $72 (all equipment supplied)
This fun workshop will guide you to explore the elegance of flowers through the wet on dry watercolour approach. By working with intentional and confidence brush strokes you will be able to capture the natural form and rhythm of petals, stems and leaves. The focus is on brushwork, how to angle, pressure, and how to hold your brush allowing you to create simple and beautiful floral pieces of art.
From there, you can choose to paint directly from the real flowers fresh from the studio garden, or let your imagination and brushstrokes take over to create your own interpretation, we’ll capture their essence through loose, expressive strokes, celebrating their beauty without needing every detail.
