Painting Roses in Watercolour

Duration: 2hrs 30mins
Cost: $72 (all equipment supplied)

Brushe Creative Studios Roses Workshop

Roses are timelessly beautiful—their petals spiral gently, their colours shift softly in light, with no two blooms are ever the same. Instead of getting caught up in every tiny detail, we’ll be exploring their beauty through loose watercolour brushstrokes, letting the paint flow and celebrating the imperfect, expressive marks our brushes make.

Watercolour has a mind of its own, and that’s part of its magic. Together, we’ll embrace the surprises—the blooms, drips, and soft edges—as part of the painting’s beauty. The goal isn’t to create a perfect rose, but to enjoy the process and let the flowers emerge on the page.

From there, you can choose to paint directly from the real roses, or let your imagination and brushstrokes take over to create your own interpretation.

  • Perfect for beginners and those wanting to expand their watercolour skills
  • Reference pictures and easy step by step guide provided
