In this workshop, we’ll explore the expressive world of line and wash, where drawing meets painting in a beautifully complementary way. Beginning with simple sketches using fineliners, we’ll discover how confident lines can define shapes, add structure, and bring personality to our artwork.

Once our drawings are in place, we’ll layer them with luminous watercolour washes—letting colour flow around and within the ink to create vibrant, eye-catching pieces. The contrast of crisp lines with the softness of watercolour elevates each painting, making it pop with depth and energy.

This mixed media approach encourages play and experimentation while teaching valuable techniques in both drawing and painting. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created dynamic, expressive works that showcase how line and wash together can take your art to the next level.
